Most software companies are one product and a long list of
features. AlphaZulu is the other shape: a portfolio of narrow,
self-contained products, each solving one problem for one group
of people, each shipped under its own name and its own domain.
The range is deliberate. A pilot tracking duty hours and a school
chasing a term's fees have nothing in common, and that is the point
— nothing in the portfolio depends on anything else in it.
A product can be built, priced, or retired on its own merits.
What they share is the way they are made. One team owns every
layer of every product: the schema, the API, the app, the release,
and the page you land on. There is no agency in the middle and
nothing is white-labelled.
